Pickling
When welding assembled stainless steel products, we use the pickling process to clean welds that are discolored by heat.
Due to the effect of heat, the chromium content of the steel surface has decreased and the steel surface is prone to corrosion. With the help of pickling, the corrosion resistance of stainless steel for decades is restored, as well as the brightness and shine of the appearance of stainless steel. We know the types of steel to be pickled and the pickling agents used for them, and thus ensure both a good pickling result and safe, environmentally friendly work.

We use the following pickling methods at our factory in Laitila with an approved environmental permit:
- pool pickling
- spray pickling
- brush pickling
